Can I believe in evolution and still be a Christian? Can I believe in the Big Bang, or an earth that is 4.5 billion years old and still accept the Bible as God’s word? On the flip side, can I be a scientist and believe that God created the universe and all that is in it? Are science and Christianity in conflict requiring us to believe one or the other?
In this study we will try to answer these and other questions that many of us have to navigate during our lives.
“In my view, there is no conflict in being a rigorous scientist and a person who believes in a God who takes a personal interest in each one of us. Science’s domain is to explore nature. God’s domain is in the spiritual world, a realm not possible to explore with the tools and language of science. It must be examined with the heart, the mind, and the soul.”
